Duncan Wood HNDip

Duncan WoodDuncan has worked within the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) since 1990, in both paid and voluntary capacities. He has worked directly in health; information; youth; and, education based charities. He has also worked with an extremely wide variety of charitable and philanthropic organisations in both an advisory and a supportive capacity as a grants assessor.

Duncan has substantial experience in providing advice and support to local and community-based organisations across the full range of organisational needs. He can support your group from start-up through the challenges it will face and help it to both survive and thrive.

With over twenty-five years experience in the VCS and as an experienced Charity CEO, Trustee and Director Duncan is able to provide advice and information in context. He has a range of qualifications including BTEC HND Business and Finance, Qualified Funding Advisor, Skilled Advisor, certified trainer, CES accredited PQASSO Peer Reviewer and Certified PQASSO Mentor.

Stuart Auton BSc (Hons) DMS CISA MBCS

Stuart AutonStuart has worked as a public sector management and information technology professional for nearly thirty years. For the last fourteen years, he has also worked with charities to design and build websites and to provide training and advice on computing matters. His experience includes information security, assurance, governance and audit; application development; web design and development; project management; technical support; training; systems management; database administration; and, team management.

He has extensive experience of working with senior managers in organisations of all sizes to identify where they could make improvements to their use of technology. He will be able to explain the key issues as they apply to your situation and help you make the right decisions.

Skills and experience portfolio

Stuart holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) and recently completed a BSc (Honours) degree in Computing with Psychological Studies with the Open University. During the course of these studies, he also gained Certificates in Web Application Development and, Computing and Mathematics. In addition to his academic qualifications, he also holds the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management and the Level 3 vocational qualification Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) that he picked up whilst working as a lecturer in computing. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a PRINCE2 Practitioner (project management) .
